We developed these Sinergy PUPS to maximize the work that you do with each push up.  They use a graduated cantilever design that grows with your ability.  As you become stronger, you move further out the lever to increase the workout.

With five standard workout positions, the Sinergy PUPS work so much more than a standard pushup: they force you to work on stabilizer muscles for balance. They work your grip, forearms, shoulders, back, and stomach, and turn the simple act of a pushup into a total arm busting, shoulder ripping workout!

The simple, compact design is easy to take with you to the gym, work, running, or on vacations.  Most athletes underestimate the need for a vise like grip and their performance suffers because of it.

Push Up Positions:
1) "Starter Position"- This is a great position to start with. Out of the 5 it is the easiest, but don't let that fool you. It's still a far cry from your standard push up. Placing your hand on the lever set your index finger in front of the post and allow your other three to grip behind it. Bring your thumb down over your index finger to lock your hand from sliding back. The short end of the post should be facing away from you towards the 12 O Clock Position. Running perpendicular to your body. Place the post squarely on the ground and proceed to execute your push up.

2)"12 O Clock"- This position is similar to "Starter Postion" but with more grip. Brining your index finger behind the post instead of in front of it. While still maintaining the 12 O Clock position with the short end of the PUP facing 12 O Clock. This increases the difficulty by forcing you to use more of your stabilizer muscles in your wrist to keep yourself upright and balanced as well as increasing your need for grip to keep you from sliding off the end of the lever. The level of difficulty on this position can be increased depending on how far away from the post you slide your hand. The further from the post you are. The more difficult the position becomes to maintain.

3)"6 O Clock"- This position is the opposite of "12 O Clock". Instead of the short end of the lever facing 12 O Clock, running perpendicular to your body it is facing away from you in a 6 O clock  position in the same perpendicular fashion. The grip will now be in front of the post. This forces you to use different stabilizer muscles in your wrists and arms as you are now pulling towards yourself as well pushing down to stay upright, instead of down and away. Again you will still need that vice like grip to keep from sliding off the end.

4)"9 O Clock"-This positon is unlike 12 and 6 for the fact that you will be turning the pups so that they are opposite the line of your body. With the short ends facing out. This changes your wrist position to a more traditional one. As you would in a normal push up. But keep in mind you still need to balance on the post and grip the pup to keep from falling. When performing this position you will target the muscles on the outside of your arm. This is from the action of trying to keep the PUPs Long ends from touching the ground when they are facing inward. Bring the pups all the way together so that they are touching or spread them further apart to target more of the upper arm and shoulders.

5)"3 O Clock"-This position is like 9 O Clock but reversed. The short ends of the PUPs will now be facing inward. This will target different groups of muscles on your inner forearm. This is because you are now trying to balance the long end of the pup on the outside. As with 9 O Clock, you can vary the level of difficulty depending on how far apart you hold the PUPs.

Please enjoy the benefits of the Sinergy Pups. These are not the only positions that can be done with the pup, but they are a solid base to start with. Rotate them in any direction or invert your grip to come up with different ones. Always use caution when using exercise equipment. Even something as simple as The Pups can cause injury and or harm. Whether it be scuffed knuckled or pulled muscles. We encourage you to exercise and grow at you own pace. Not everyone is ready to start out at the most difficult of levels, but with Sinergy you will get there.
Thank You
